ABSTRACT

Objetivos: Conhecer o perfil clínico-epidemiológico do trauma em adolescentes atendidos nos principais serviços terciários, classificando-o quanto a causas, tipo e gravidade nas diferentes faixas etárias. Métodos: Estudo epidemiológico, transversal e prospectivo realizado através de aplicação de questionários a 80 pacientes. Variáveis analisadas: gênero, idade, mecanismo, tipo e topografia da lesão e desfecho. Significância adotada: p < 0,05. Resultados: Traumas ocorridos preponderantemente em via pública (58,75%), sendo o principal mecanismo o acidente de trânsito (37,5%). Predomínio do gênero masculino (76,25%) e lesões majoritariamente em membros (58,41%). Conclusão: Adolescentes vítimas de trauma são predominantemente do gênero masculino, com idade média de 15 anos e 4 meses, vítimas de agravo na via pública; principalmente acidente de trânsito, com lesões normalmente de leve gravidade e em membros superiores.


Objectives: To know the epidemiological and clinic adolescents' trauma characteristics that were attend at tertiary health center, also recognize trauma causes, kind and severity in each age group. Methods: An epidemiologic, transversal and prospective study with 80 patients; were analyzed the following variables: age, gender, when, how and where the trauma happened, which body part was injured. The software used to statics was Microsoft Excel 2010, and the significance p< 0.05. Results: Most traumas occurred at thoroughfare (58.75%) and traffic accident was the most common trauma was traffic accident (37.5%). Among 80 adolescents attend, 76.25% were male. The limbs were the most body part affected. Conclusion: The trauma's victim are male with the average age: 15 years and 4 months old, which suffered trauma at thoroughfare- traffic accident with low severity- and the body part most affected are superior limbs.
